Romanian Carpathians are home to ~ 60% (approx. 5,500 bears) of the brown bear population in Europe. We offer the opportunity to admire and observe brown bears in their natural habitat from a specially designed observatory in the forests of Transylvania.

Woodsman will lead you on a forest road in deep forest, where he continued walking a few hundred meters to the observer / patio. There we waited quietly, without making noises that can scare animals.

Statistics, the chances of observing Brown Bear larger than 85%, sometimes a female with cubs, sometimes a bigger male bear; but also is likely to observe wild boar, roe, deer, wolves, lynx ...

Note:
This program cannot guarantee 100% sightings of wild animals. Remember that wild animals have their own compartment and lifestyle, and we humans are trying as much as we approach them in their habitat. Taking part in this tour, you agree that you will not have any claim if you do not see any wild animal at the observatory.

Place and time of meeting shall be determined according to the year - when the sun goes down - tour will begin at 4pm or 5pm; will be announced starting time after the tour will be confirmed.

Notes:

To increase the chances for the observer, it is recommended to dress without tacky / tough colours and do not use perfume or similar. Do not bring food with you, and follow the forester directives about the visit.
