A general look over Brasov can surprise you in so many ways. As a result the summer season may keep people awake with the 28 degrees nights and by day the temperatures can easily raise up to 35 degrees (in shade). On the opposite side, are the 35 below temperatures when the squeak of your boots makes terrible notes and the eyelashes are instantly freezing too. Brasov was since the oldest times an important cultural, touristic and economical centre of the country. Its position almost in the centre of the country has been an advantage. For years now Google Earth offers the possibility to see the neighbourhood you are living in and take a walk down the street and look over in the neighbour�s yard with a mouse click and zoom. Brasov gathers around many diversified land forms (including Piatra Craiului, Postavarul, Piatra Mare and Tampa Mountains), natural reservations and also historical monuments (bastions, towers, churches, fortresses, museums, etc.), and various teaching institutions (including universities). It�s a continuously expanding city, blossoming from year to year, where the pubs and bars are always full house and if you have a group of friends to hang out with and explore the city, things will seem to be much easier.
