Built name of "Baiulescu" is quite interesting. The building was given as a wedding gift by her daughter and son-Diamandi Manole or Dr. George Baiulescu. About George Baiulescu known that was the first mayor of Brasov Romanian origin.
After being demolished in 1887 the harness bastion was built in the neo-current building that houses the intercultural activities:
